What does FixECM do?

FixECM specializes in automotive ECM, ECU, and TCM repair, cloning, and tuning. We diagnose and restore faulty modules, clone VIN and calibration data, and offer Stage 1 tuning for better performance and efficiency.

What’s the difference between ECM repair and ECM cloning?
  • Repair means fixing your original ECM/ECU — correcting circuit faults, power issues, or corrupted firmware.

  • Cloning means transferring all the original data (VIN, IMMO, calibration) to another identical module — so the replacement works exactly like your old one, plug and play.

What is Stage 1 tuning?

Stage 1 tuning is a safe performance upgrade that adjusts your engine’s software to improve torque, throttle response, and fuel efficiency — without requiring hardware modifications.
It’s ideal for everyday drivers who want smoother, stronger performance while keeping factory reliability.

Do I need to send my ECM/ECU to FixECM?

Yes. We perform all repairs and cloning on a bench setup using specialized tools and simulators. You can ship your ECM/ECU to our address in Canada or the U.S., and we’ll handle everything in-house.

Do you test the modules before shipping?

Absolutely. Every unit is bench-tested and verified for communication, power, and functionality before being shipped back. We ensure your ECM or TCM is fully ready for installation.

What warranty do you offer?

All FixECM repair and replacement units include a 12-month limited warranty against workmanship or component failure (excluding water or physical damage).

Do you have my product in stock?

Yes. Most of our ECM, ECU, and TCM units are in stock and ready to ship.
If a specific module needs to be built, repaired, or cloned, we’ll notify you right away with the estimated turnaround time.

Do you deliver the Next Day?

Yes, we offer Next-Day Express Shipping within Canada and the United States on most in-stock units.
Orders placed before 2:00 PM (EST) usually ship the same day.

What delivery options do you offer?

We ship through Canada Post, UPS, and DHL, with both standard and express options available.
International shipping is also available upon request.

How do I know when my order has been dispatched?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can monitor delivery in real time.
You can also log in to your FixECM account to check order status.
